Environmentally friendly works procedures and the use of renewable energy sources are key to aiding in the safe guarding of the local environment and maintaining good relationships with the community.

All managers, engineers and supervisors are required to attend environmental awareness courses and are actively encouraged to make environmentally conscious decisions.

Through the design and procurement process VVB actively work with all parties to reduce general waste and the use of hazardous materials.

VVB are also conscious of the role that can be played in reducing energy consumption of mechanical and electrical systems. VVB consider whole life costs and energy requirement issues before selection of products.
