Tottenham Court Road Tube Station Redevelopment

VVB were appointed by London Bridge Associates/Mace to produce a construction methodology report and provide design input to the proposed temporary and permanent M&E services.

Our role included:

  • Liaison with consultants, LUL, Tubelines, Utility Companies, Civils and Specialist Subcontractors
  • Involvement and comment on design
  • Buildability
  • Value Engineering & Design amendments
  • Programme Planning & Construction sequencing
  • Compliance with LUL standards and Guidelines

Throughout the design and preconstruction phase VVB provided technical knowledge and experience to all elements of the M&E systems. This proactive approach enabled substantial time and cost savings to be achieved on expected station completion date, whilst maintaining a live station and keeping disruption to a minimum.
